GORILLAS IN OUR MIDST

Gorillas can be hard to spot, because they are masters of disguise and really good at hiding. Gorillas often have jobs where they get to wear masks--that's why so many gorillas are surgeons, astronauts, scuba divers, and ninjas. There are adult gorillas and kid gorillas. There are even gorillas that go to school with you. You may think you've seen a gorilla swinging by before, but it's much more likely that he was an orangutan--orangutans are terrible at hiding. You will know when there are lots of gorillas living in your midst because the grocery stores will be entirely out of bananas. In fact, you should always carry a banana with you, because you never know when there might be a gorilla around.

Acclaimed comic writers Richard Fairgray and Terry Jones have produced a hilarious and kooky story about a little girl called Wanda and her huge, green, scaly, spiky grandpa. Wanda has noticed some very unusual things about her grandpa...His pants need tail holes. He can eat an entire tree. His footprints attract palaeontologists. GRANDPA IS A DINOSAUR. Wanda knows it, but nobody will believe her! So Wanda decides to ask Grandpa herself. With sly humour lurking in every illustration, MY GRANDPA IS A DINOSAUR is a picture book for all kids who notice things that no one else does.

If I had an elephant things would be so much more fun. I'd win water fights and get great seats at the circus and never have to ride the bus again. If I had an elephant he'd have a time machine and a space ship, so our adventures would never end. What would you do if you had an elephant?

Another delightful story from the mind of Richard Fairgray, where once again he takes us on a journey into an amazing and fantastical world, which somehow he makes seem possible.

When Morgan woke up this morning he knew something was wrong. It wasn't a tummy ache, or a tooth ache, he just couldn't put his finger on it. He asked Rabbit (his favorite toy) what might be the matter. That's when he realized, RABBIT WAS MISSING.

Morgan looked everywhere, but Rabbit wasn't anywhere. So Rabbit must be NOWHERE. Morgan did what anyone would do, he dug a hole to nowhere to find him.

Everyone in the house is in bed and Morgan is bored. He's read all his books and plyed with all his toys and he doesn't know what to do with himself. He wakes up his dad to ask him but his dad just tells him to GO TO SLEEP.

This seems like a good idea to Morgan, he just has one question...Where is that?
